I have some notes in my Cardomain thing. It's for a Prochamber but that won't make a difference. It's still a midpipe. It's not quite a step by step but more of a general guide. See sig.
Straight forward.
A buddy will help, but you can do it alone--I did it in under 2 hours (trying to find a medium well 15mm).
Don't forget to disconnect the battery in the very beginning. You might arc the starter and it will help in resetting the PCM to learn how to handle the new exhaust setup.
that is so true you will need a medium size 15mm and disconnect the battery along with a 22mm wrench to transfer the o2's form the stock mid pipe to the new one
Thank you all for all the help. And sgarlic , i will have the same set up as you soon.MAC H o/r pipe and wel-in 40 series Flowmasters. So how do you like the sound. Is it too loud/normal?

Greetings to a fellow (although former) Tucsonian. I'm only stationed here for a few years, myself, but it's been a blast.
I love the sound.. it's not too loud for me at all. The first time I fired it up I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made. Here's a soundclip of the first time I fired it up. It's a little louder now .. more broken in I guess.
watch out for the passenger sid e header to mid pipe bolts, they're a mofo to get to, you need all sorts of wobble sockets. (well, i did on mine any how)
oh, and make sure your tail pipes are lined up before you tighten the mid pipe in place as the mid pipe can shift the pipes a bit.
It sounds great, but be advised it will stink pretty bad. I just installed one last weekend. I hope the smell gets a little better in time (maybe some coating/paint/crap burnoff).
As has been said previously, you WILL need the medium/deep 6 point 15mm socket, socket swivel and extensions, and pb blaster (liquid wrench). Install was not too bad, did it on my driveway with 2 ramps and 2 stands. It took me about 3 hours, including a run to get the 15mm socket. BTW, you should not need to remove the starter (as some have said). 30k miles on mine, and the bolts came off fairly easily.
