I was trying tobuy the MAC Prochambers /w CATS too LT Headers. No one seems to havethem in stock. Will my Mutang pass emissions tests with out the CATS? Any clue?

you will fail on a visual check if your state has that.

That was what I thought, just struck me as odd that no one has the MAC prochambers /w CATS.

I had my CEL come on once the cats came off. It was taken care of by a custom tune with the rear O2 sensors turned off. My buddy who inspects cars said that as long as the CEL is off, he could fudge the rest of the emissions test. This being due to the fact that the car is hooked to a computer and communicates any error codes, though the part with the exhaust sniffer is susceptible to....human error...

Well found the Prochambers with the CATS now I'm trying to find out if VA has laws about the CATS not moving form original location. (Adding LT's Also) Also found out that my state MIGHT not require a emissions inspection for first 4 years of the cars life.

i noticed you are in stafford, and so am i... weird...

anyways, the shop i used to work out, i had talked to the emissions guy about it. he said as long as it is there. location doesnt matter. Just take it to Progressive Automotive Service, bc their inspector Jay said that word for word

I don't suppose you know if Long Tube Headers would cause issues?

Might be to late for me. I already left a message to cancel the headers and the pochmabers.

I just confirmed with a speed shop that as long as I have the CATS i'll pass.

I have the Prochamber that goes to the factory cats, and it works quite well. Maybe that would be an option for you.
