you can get those filters on ebay for like $10 - $100 depending on which ones you get. just type in hoya 58mm polarizing filter or hoya 52mm polarizing filter and it will bring up the results.

that field guide will do wonders for your photography.

Nice pics. Looks a little heavy on the saturation in a few of them. Great setups and good angles. Nice job.

I agree that a polarizer would benefit you. It would also help to keep some color in the sky without washing it out. A graduated neutral density filter could come in handy too.

The lenses you posted are the 18-55 kit lens and a 75-300 lens. Both of those lenses are standard lenses without VR (vibration reduction) built in. They are on the cheaper end of the lens spectrum, but are still decent lenses for what they are. Without VR, camera shake will be quite noticeable at the larger end of the 75-300 zoom range. A tripod is a must when using something in that range.

The 75-300 pic you posted has a UV filter on the end. While this can make a bit of difference in your photos, UV filters are primarily used for lens protection.

Man EPIK I love the stance on your Mach,how much is your total drop on it?I would love to get that stance on mine but with 17's not the 18's.

Also while im asking about yours,is it normal on these for the rear to look as if it sits a tad lower than the front,cuz mine looks that way to me.And sorry if I kinda jacked the thread.

x2! I would definitely recommend a good solid tripod, and a wireless shutter release, this will help you to attain the pictures that you want, without fear of vibration/camera shake.

the polarizer filters will reduce the detail in reflections. for example. say you take a picture of your car, and you are parked next to a tree. Instead of seeing the tree in the paint of your car when you take the picture, the final image will only have the color of the tree reflecting in the paint of your car, instead of the tree itself. this is what the pro's use for photoshoots for the pics that go into magazines.

Thanks.....I am running an o/r H, but when it comes time for smog, I swap the stocker back on...PM me if you ever want to cruise some time. We have a cruise going on tomorrow that starts in Frisco & ends in Dublin....

okay so you got lt's and an o/r h-pipe in cali lol. So you take your lt's and o/r pipe off every two years. I want a o/r pipe but i dont want to take it off all the time. Is it legal or possible to have a slp shorty catted x-pipe and mac lt's or do they not work together? slp sais other headers might not work on there x-pipes

Get some smog legal short tubes and just swap your x pipe every time, much easier. Damn, I just got home from frisco, too bad i missed out on your cruise.
