Has anyone seen the march issue of "5.0 mustang" magazine. On page 106 there is an 04 Mach 1 with some coil covers I am trying to find. I am trying to dress up my boring looking engine bay. I couldnt find a link to the pics so I had to take a crappy photo of the actual mag. Does anyone know where I could find these. Sorry bout the crappy pic, but you get the idea. This 66 fastback that year one did had some similar ones on the 03 cobra motor they installed that said "V8 32 Valve" on them but i couldnt find those either. I think these would look perfect on my Mach because I like how they used the fins on them kinda like vintage Cobra valve covers. It goes with the whole retro thing of the mach, and it definatly looks better then the stock ones on the motor.

I like those, but not on a red Mach. Maybe on a Black, blue, or white Mach they would look sick....

I can't understand why it's so hard for them to make these for 2V motors

If my car was a 2 valve, I would get the BBk cam covers...anyway i dont want to change my cam covers, just the coil covers, if I could find the "mach 1" covers. Otherwise the "Powered by ford" ones are what Im gonna have.

I've seen the Mach 1 coil covers on a couple Machs, but I can't remember where they got them. I've got the chrome Ford Racing ones. The Blue valve covers kick ass, but yes only on certain color Machs.

Thanks alot. Try and overlook the SVT dipstick. They only had a choice of GT, Cobra, or SVT chrome dipsticks. No Mach or Mustang.

By the way crazyhorse, your engine bay looks sweet with those blue cam covers. Like I said, they only look good with certain colors, especially blue or white. Where did u get the chrome shaker ducting? And I like that coolant tank, what kind of radiator do u have?

The chrome Shaker tube I just found out is no longer made by the Throttlestop (formerly known as Mach1Performance). I guess they just recently halted making them. But you can get one made by any kind of chroming shop and it will look the same. But you won't get it for much cheaper than what I bought it for. I paid $250 . Yeah, it's alot, but that's really the last thing I'm doing to the engine as far as dress up. The Overflow Tank is from Canton. I still have the stock radiator, it's just the Overflow Tank that is different. They cost about $169 from Holcomb Motorsport. The radiator cover (in front of the Overflow Tank) is from UPR.

Those Mach 1 coil covers go very well with the black '03 valve covers.
