Yes, I did read the sticky'd thread but I still don't understand exactly what I need to do/purchase to replace my headunit (currently the 6disc changer mach). I went to bestbuy to get a harness for my new headunit (alpine iDA-x305) and the guy there said I would have to get a whole new system or keep the old one because mach isn't compatible with aftermarket stuff. I don't have the $ to get all new everything right now so I just want to install the headunit with the existing mach speakers and stuff. So basically my question is before I order the harness mentioned in the sticky'd thread, how hard will this be? I've never had to wire anything car related so I want to be sure I can actually do it before I order more stuff. Thanks in advance.
