I have had my 97 cobra for a month now, and I miss the control over sound, and the bass I had before. I had a 94 t-bird with cerwin vega 6x8's inside(4) a pioneer deck, and 2 hollywood 12's(green foam) in a huge q logic box, powered by a bazooka 700w amp. At first it was ok, but I need to get my boom back. I am looking at getting a ported box for my 12's, I was told that my speakers like air space, and ports. But I have no idea where to start with the inside stuff. I like the tweets, but my old setup sounded cleaner. What have you guys done to your cars? And tape decks? Can you even buy tapes anymore? That needs to go. I guess if I get a new deck, I could put an eq where the cd player portion if this system is. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. chris
