Ok guys I have some questions here.

1. Wasn't the Mach 460 sound system available beginning in the 95 model year, and if so, how come I see 94s listed with "Mach Sound system"

2. If I buy a car without the Mach 460, how hard will it be to convert to a Mach 460?

3. Do the Mach 460s come with the 6 disc changers?

Thanks in advance.

You'd be better off getting an aftermarket system

Yes
Thanks in advance.

I kinda like the Mach sound systems, and I don't wanna go through the trouble of an aftermarket sound system, plus I can get alot of the 460 componets cheap. It just needs to play CD's, blend into my interior and sound decent.

Also another question, is there a difference between a "Mach sound system" and a "Mach 460 sound system? If so what is the difference?

The mach 460 system was indeed available in 1994, my 94 had it. It was also the first production car with a optional factory installed Ford minidisc player instead of a cd player...I have never seen one in real life, wonder if it every came out!

You can add a mach system after the fact although you would have to rewire the whole car....

I believe the mach 460 only started to come with a changer in 2000.

Hope this helps
