That's right! In case you guys didn't catch the thread in the talk forum last week, someone had the crazy idea to do this and the results speak for themselves! I took chrisxoxide and stangtrooper97's advice and bought the mach1 chin spoiler along with new diamond clear fog light housings and WOW...Just WOW...

This thing fits like a glove. The two guys pitching this idea were 100% right. Pictures simply cannot do this thing justice that it deserves. It looks so freaking good. I was getting compliments from it and the new fog lights from ALL the RICERS at the car meeting tonight!!

Install of the lights and spoiler took about an hour and a half freezing my nuts off in the process....well actually after spilling frigid water that had been retained in one of the fog light housings all over my face and down my sweatshirt during removal Any how, the new housings make the lights MUCH brigher and visibility is leaps and bounds better than it used to be (and this is with standard autozone fog bulbs).

Here are some pics but like I said, It just looks beautiful in person. I tried to get a good angle with the camera but the night time wasn't being much help. I'll take another shot before work tomorrow and hopefully get that posted but for now, here you guys go. And hey, it's less than $50! (or just over $100 for all I got) And free shipping on orders over $50!! Why not? Classic design concepts wants THREE TIMES AS MUCH for the same thing (only slightly larger and less attractive in my opinion)

For those interested, go to www.mustangtuning.com and get one! Full install with lots more pics coming soon!

New fog light housing on left, old on right (both had brand new bulbs in to get accurate comparison)

Lining every thing up was the only hard part. I drilled the center hole and used one of the temporary holding pins to make sure the thing stayed straight while I lined the rest up.

ALL DONE!!!

Here's one other angle...The spoiler is flush on the edge of the bottom lip of the bumper and the lines flow superbly...much better than I though based on the other photos.

Thanks for the compliments! Here's some shots I just took this morning. Car's still kinda dirty but it's 30* out and I could deal without frostbite.

FastRedPony - That looks so good! $48.00 plus shipping?
My birthday is next month and that is on my list of things to buy myself!
Hmm shifter and a chin spoiler soon.

Good find!
By the way I like the rims and tires on your car too. My 98 GT is the same color as yours!

Dude that looks so awesome. Glad everything worked out for you. The foglights and chin spoiler really add to the look of the car. Glad we could hook you up.

i was looking at the CDC one as well as the shinoda one. they're both waaay too expensive ($150 and $255 respectively).

onlyme - yes I beleive it is the exact same piece from ford. Stangtrooper might can verify this. the similar prices suggest that it is.
