machine gun

With an O/R X setup I(as well as a lot im sure) get the machine gun sound when shifting around 3k. just wondering if there was something that could be done about that.. besides putting the cats back on.

you get that with the stingers also???? damn i was gonna switch to borla stingers with my offroad H to get away from that, but i guess not!?

its just the straight through mufflers. my magnapacks do it at 2700-3500 with an offroad H....and they also do it with the offroad X. its kinda odd but insanely loud.

maybe a tune would tone it down a bit? i dont know. im also curious about how to change it...

I think it must have to do with the muffler design as I used to have the exact same thing with my O/R H and Ravin Mufflers (straight through design). Now I have Flowmasters and no more machine gun...
