Hey guys,

I have a spare roller 302 sitting in a friends garage and I want to at least do a 306 with it. Anyone know of a good machine shop in the Orlando/Central FL area? I am still trying to figure out if I want to do a 306 or do a 347, CHP has a 347 kit for sale for $799, so I want to get some prices on machine work for boring, honing and clearancing the block for the 347. I will do all the assembly myself in all the spare time that I have . I am trying to figure out how much I need to budget for the build.

Thanks

i suggest doing the clearencing yourself, it should save you a couple hundred bucks. I just bought one of this jigs off ebay to be the guinea pigs around here for it, so i will let everyone know how it works for my 331.
