Last nite i was drawing up some ideas for ipod holders for the car, and on SN95 forums, i saw something that DARK5.0 put together so i took that idea and improved upon it....its made outta some sheet steel with some openings i drilled, and i used black felt on the inside to cusion the iPod....heres some pics of the build, and installed too....now i just needa run the wire behind the dash and come out right from behind the bezel...

Lemme know what you think!

Can I buy one from you?

That looks great. Only thing. You might want to cut down the tab that runs over the click wheel - or modify it some way, as that could become an obstruction. Plus you might want padding in front too to avoid scratching up the front of the iPod.

Great work!

Looks great! Is the screen shattered? Looks to be spider-webbed.

Good to see you're still using Viagra.

well i found the metal in the shop and it already had that "U" channel to it which happened to be the same width as the ipod....then i just used a series of different positions on a vice with a hammer, and some vice grips.....and i used a grinding wheel so smooth all edges, and a hack saw to make cuts...thanks for the kind words guys...i figured i'd share the idea around

I would love to take my clock out and make a docking station up there for my PSP and hook it up to my radio. As of now I just have an FM transmitter that plugs into the cigg lighter and plays my PSP over 87.9.

I have a FM transmitter for mine too, and it sucks balls. I think its because of my headunit, its always full of static. I even put the stock antenna back on there.

Make sure you get a good fm transmitter, the Belkin one works really good. My g/f went through 3 of them before she bought the belkin and they all sucked. Also get one that can plug into the cigarette lighter, then you dont have to keep buying batteries.
