I've been sorting out some bugs with the mustang lately. I finally sorted out all my electrical issues the other day. I ended up replacing the alternator, alternator cable, starter, and I added a supplemental ground cable. She fires up every time now, cranks SUPER fast! I broke my ignition cylinder the other day, so I ordered a new one.

Anyway, today I changed my oil/filter, hooked my new breather up and thus my pcv system is now operational again, tightened up all my exhaust bolts (every bolt from the headers back was loose, one collector on the h-pipe was completely seperated from the other pipe), tighted up some loose bolts on my sway bar, put in my new ignition cylinder, put my steering column back together, put my PCM back in the kick panel, put my trim pieces back on, and mounted and balanced two new tires for my buddy's mustang. The only thing I forgot to do was to hook my shift light back up, but oh well.

As I was leaving the dealership, I got on it kinda hard, and couldn't get traction until halfway through 3rd gear, it was insane.

Just thought I'd share the news of my productive night, I feel pretty good about getting all that stuff done and taken care of. What projects have you guys been working on?

awesome, man, it feels great after you accomplish something and get it all done.

i just sanded the entire car down today--it goes into primer tomorrow. after that it's another day or two of sanding/filling, then paint next week, hopefully.

Nice job chris! It's a great feeling when you've accomplished jobs by yourself, because you learn so much. Last weekend i installed my sportlines by myself. I know its not a really hard install, but i was pretty damn happy that i could do it myself. Now i just need the h/c/i like you, and im set:D :D

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention I also got my buddy to put an inspection sticker on it. It's been expired since last September!! lol.

Michael, good job on getting those springs in. :nice: Even better job doing them by your lonesome. I had a friend help with mine.

great job chris!

yep, it feels great getting stuff done. i just finished my k/b install and drove it for the first time today in like 3 months. i still have some issues and i can't get on it yet, but i'm still stoked about it.

i still have to install the fuel pump in, boost & fuel pressure gauges, and coil-overs. after that there are about 50 more things i want to do.

lol, my pcm was on the passenger's floor for like a year. with the tweecer on there, it didn't want to go back in, so i just shoved it in there as best i could and put the panel back. it isn't the way i'd like it to be, but it isn't going anywhere, so i'm not worried about it. did you just sort of force the yours back in there or did you modify the bracket?

i drove around without a sticker for about 6 months :nonono:

Its amazing how much a difference getting all the little stuff fixed will make. Also with the new ground. That makes a huge difference. I made one out of extra 1ot gauge battery cable i had. Fires up like a new car.

Hey Chris

Bet you feel like you got a new car after doing all that stuff :nice:

Me and the little woman just got back from a drive in my Stang :D

First time it has been out in about a month :(

Felt quicker than I remembered

I simply clipped off the bottom portion of the bracket, the end that goes on the bottom of the PCM. Then I wedged the whole thing in there, and got that plug back on, and it fit pretty snug afterwards.

Grady, it really does feel like a brand new car! I've been having hot-start issues for nearly 6 months now. :( I've also had an oil leak, exhaust leaks, low-rpm bucking, and a busted ignition cylinder. Now I can start it up anytime anywhere, no matter how hot the motor, I don't leak oil, I can't start the car without the key anymore (lol), and I idled down our road in 2nd gear at 1100 rpms for about .6 miles with NO bucking!

Glad to hear you're enjoying yours too. :nice:
