say you buy a MAF for stock injectors and later I decide to upgrade to 24's you can get it re calibrated right? Does anybody know where you can get this done and how much it cost to do it? Haven't bought one yet so i'm just thinking ahead want a 70 or 75mm tb first lol

ProM you can get a recal .... C&L you swap the sample tube ..... With a EEC tuner, Tweecer, etc you would not need to recal for inj upgrade.

ProM will charge $100 for the recal and some shipping.

from what i understand though, you can actually peg out your meter if you went with too large of an injector. like if you bought a meter that was setup for 19lb but jumped to a 30lb. i think it will peg out and even a tuner cant correct it.

doubt i have to worry about that i don't plan on going any bigger then 24's and that after i get my heads and cam which won't be for a while. I don't really plan at the moment to ever go forced air but then again who knows with me

The amount of air your combo will pull through the motor is what can peg a maf and the size of the inj doesn't have anything to do with it.

With increased airflow you need to have increased fuel and that means larger inj's.

You are right on the money with that one.

Example .... The combo in my sig was right to the point of pegging the stock maf and I was using 30lb inj's to handel the increased air flow.

The pcm can deal with a maximum maf voltage of 5.0 volts which also is maximum airflow. In the above example I datalogged maf volt values at 4.9xx so I went to a ProM shorty 80mm caled for 30lb inj's. I now see maximum maf volt values at around 4.1xx.

Hope that helps some :D
