NO, STILL IDLES BAD WITH THE MAF HOOKED UP... KIND OF HAS A SMALL SKIP TO IT..WHEN WARM.. IF I TRY TO HOOK IT UP AND LET IT IDLE, I HAVE TO HOLD THE GAS.. THEN IT WONT DRIVE GOOD, KIND OF SPUTTERS LIKE THE TPS IS BAD..IM STUMPPED...

Did you adjust the TPS after you put the new one on? I know there is a step-by-step on how to do this somewhere in these forums.

I found 2 leaks, they are all fixed. I put the new tps on, not sure if it needs adjustments. I put it on just like it came off. before it was jumping whiole driving, really bad. replaced fuel filter now its better. but still doesnt idle right or drive right.. was told the coolant tep could also cause this..

If the gas in the filter was brown then there may be a good chance some debris may have got into the injectors. How long did the car sit before you picked it up?

a couple of years..they may have drove it for a mile or 2. i got it drove it for a few days, right after the hurricane, i went to crank it uop and it had a very rough idle around 400-600rpms, so went through the maf, idle, tps, plugs. still cant hook the maf up even though its new.. it will cut off. i havent tired to let it idle withth it hooked up. chanegd the filter for fuel and it cleared up the jumping while driving, but not all the way. so i was told it could be coolant temp sensor, then one guy tells me my injectors are clogged up. ran some seafoam throug it this sunday. but havent realy driven it a lot .. just to work and back..

If your injectors are truly fouled seafoam isn't going to get them clean.

Best bet for that would be to pull the injectors out and have the professionally cleaned. If indeed it is the injectors it would probably be wise to clean the tank and blow out the lines..

Last time I had that issue it was vacuum related. Go to the tech forum and go through the surging idle check list. Lots of good info in there.

See the "Surging Idle Checklist for help with all your idle/stall problems.

The quick and easy way to dump the codes is in there too, and all you need to do it is a paper clip! The first two posts contain all the fixes & updates. At last count there were 24 possible causes and fixes for surging idle/stall problems. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.
