MAF on a 1990 LX?

Hey guys, is it true that some '90 LXs had a MAF?

Doubtful....I've never heard of any of them having it.

No. You're thinking of the 5.0's, which went mass air in california a year before they did everywhere else. 2.3's didn't have mass air until they went to the dual plug engine, and that was in 1991.

That's what I thought too, but then I found a red notch at the junkyard that has black trim (not body color, i.e. pre-'91), single plug (distributor), and MAF. 'Splain that one.

Just for the record, My '91 has black body trim.

OK, the thing is that my car's a 1990 LX convertible and it has a MAF... I bought it 4 years ago and up until now I came up with this question, LOL! I'll take a pic to prove it.
