My mass air sensor is reading 5V @ 5800rpm. Any one else run into this problem with a NA 4.6 2V?
According to my Gtech ( which is used for reference ) I'm putting out 266hp/lbft net at 5500.
Mods include 85mmC&L housing with stock sensor,P51,Patriot heads,Crower cams, FRPP shorty headers,no cats. Running off the stock tune with a modified MAF function(richened 30% via tweecer). Any thoughts? Is a LMAF the best choice for an upgrade?

I just ordered the Diablosport MAFia from RPM Outlet the other day. I haven't installed it yet, but it's supposed to allow the MAF to reach higher RPMs by not pegging the meter at 5V. I also have the 85mm C&L MAF, but have a Procharger D-1SC as well. I ordered it because it seems like a lot of forum users have the MAFia, so I hope it works out well. Here's the link:

I've thought about the MAFia but i wouldn't buy it from RPMoutlet since they screwed me on a set of heads. How does the MAFia deal with the higher voltage? Is it going to require reworking my MAF function?

your stock MAF should handle what you have done to the car , your C&L is probably why its maxing out , you need to put the stock MAF back on , and if you insist on using the tweecer for tuning I would take to someone that tunes with those and get a dyno tune using it properly , you should be hitting well over 270 rwhp with your mods , you are leaving alot on the table

You will need a tune if you change MAF. You do not need a new MAF anyways. Get rid of the C&L junk, clean your MAF, and then reset your PCM and see if the problem is solved for FREE.

My tuner said my MAF is pegged out too. What is the cheapest/best way to upgrade?
