as said before its a T-20, but its a "tamper-proof" or "security" torx bit. These bits are a pain in the ass to find, ususally only sold in a set.

AZ sells them individually for about 3 bucks each. I got a nice set at a swapper for 8 bucks (I had bought a set from the parts store that looked kinda like star-shaped chit).

I bought a set at a parts store (AZ I think). It was around $5 for the set of 8 or 10.

I could not find the security torx bit, so I used my Dremel tool to grind out the center of the screw.....then I used a regular torx on the screws....it was a simple job.

Pretty funny though....after I cleaned the sensor, I was still getting a code, so I replaced it with a reman unit.....when I went to install the reman unit, the screws were grinded down just as I had done with the old one....is that funny or what?

If someone is totally in a pinch, you can get a small pair of vicegrips clamped onto the side of the head. It should break loose that way.

Or for you steady handed folks, I wonder if you can drill the center of a cheap (pot metal) bit to make it work.

i was gonna suggest this if someone hadnt already done it, i just drilled out the center, it is such soft metal... then your regular torx are fine

Yep. I've even heard of people using a Dremel with a cutoff wheel to cut a slot all the way across the head. Then using a flat head screwdriver to get it out.
