MAF - what a difference!

Had the car swapped over to mass air from speed density this morning and what a difference! E-cam, cobra intake, exhaust, and otherwise stock did not make the previous speed density too happy - ran super rich at lower rpm. Car now idles beatifully and sounds 100% healthier - no more surging and stalling at lights. Nice and smooth through the rpms. Only complaint is that it does feel just a bit slower/less torquey on the low end?

Next up - some ported GT40's and 1.7's

isn't it though? i just did the same thing when i rebuilt my motor with the stuff in my sig. i'm actually about to get an e cam from a friend too. my car's the healthiest it's ever been! and i haven't even gotten it tuned yet! i'm doing that in a few weeks though. i can't wait!

aftermarket mafs tend to run a little conservative/fat so you might be down a tad in the power over SD...might.
