lol am i the only guy with Flowmasters and NO drone??? I have the Super 40's.... it sounds dead stock on the highway. I drove a vert with an A/T catback and there was barely any drone either.... I guess i just don't have sensitive ears.

The drone drove me nuts too. I installed some sound dampening inside my car and put in a sound baffle behind the seat. I got the brown bread at b-quiet.com; I think for $99

Did adding the baffle help at all? Does it still drive you nuts, or is ok on the hwy. What about getting the Bassani resonators installed?

I have the UPR x pipe with mine and there is barely any drone and only at like 2000 rpm. Like others have said maybe it is your stock H. The magnaflow is a straight through design and fits better with an x pipe. Also like others said think about gears, that will bring your rpm into the no drone area.

After the b-quiet, the sound is only annoying at 70MPH. Anything other than that is livable. I have to drive 60 miles each way to work

Well heck, I don't know what is going on with your ride. I have a Magnaflow catback on my 03 vert and have no drone at highway speeds. Just a righteous rumble through the peddles with 1/4 trottle acceleration from 2-3k. But none at cruising speeds.

I have read of people combating the Flowmaster drone with Dynamat (?) stuck on the bottom of the car around the mufflers. I can't remember if that is the name of the material or not but I remember that you see alot of it in various mags. It is an aluminum foil covered matting with the logo printed all over it.
