Magnaflow catted x too loud for daily driver?

I have an o/r pipe and drive 50miles each way to work. it is not bad. if I had gears I would proably not even notice it. the only time I notice anything at all is cruising right at 2k. if I were reving more I would not even notice it. If you don't have to have the cats do youslef a favor and save some $$$ and just get an o/r pipe. vrs makes the cheapest stainless x-pipe I have found at $250 to your door.

i have the Magnaflow cat-back and X-pipe and its nowhere near being to loud for a daily driver,just a little louder then stock in normal driving.

me exuast is in sig. yes theres a drone at 2100rpm but its not the end of the world. i wouldnt even consider a quieter exhuast.

I couldn't stand the drone and addes some b-quiet brown bread under the carpet, back seat, and put a baffel board behind the seat.

Hey all, I've got the magnaflow catback already installed and want to put on the magnaflow catted x pipe as well, however, i drive my car for work 50+ miles daily. Do you think it would be too loud for a daily work driven car?

I wished you lived closer to me. I live in Tampa and I have Magnaflow Catted X and Magnapacks on my '02 GT Vert. The sound is just below Obnoxious to my wife so that suits me just fine.

Ok, im convinced to buy it... Partshopper is having a good deal on them, however, they are much more expensive than i remember... I remember when i wanted to get one 6 months ago it was only 380 at full line exhaust and partshopper and now full line wants 625 for one and parthshopper is around 400 something with discounts and free shipping. Thats crazy.. I cant seem to find one on ebay.... anywhere else i can buy one for around 380?!? did magnaflow up their prices on everything!?!

seems like it. i have heard other people talk about them. i just got e-mail saying my magnaflow catted x pipe was shipped. cant go wrong for that price. they said it was shipped out of M.I.. they are in texas. GO FOR IT. i could not find better price.

i ordered on 2/14, shipped out today. they were closed when i ordered. they said 3 days. go for it. i ordered borla cat back today from pick up truck.com, got it for 480.00 shipped. this guy steve set me up. getting 3.73 gears installed on 2/25, along with my x pipe. i just might have them throw the cat back on too if they are doing other stuff. i installed volant cai the other night. have not driven car yet, so dont know how it feels. good luck

Hey Chief, before you make up your mind about the Magnaflow catted X, I suggest you listen to a MRT catted H-pipe with a Magnaflow cb. I think it sounds great, really classic musclecar sound.
