What was needed to replace the flows with the packs? Any idea how the exhaust shop did it?

Magnapacks are in. I just bought the mufflers and bought it to a muffler shop. Evidently, there was no need to add any new piping, but the packs needed to be welded in. They fit right up, no problems. Oh, and the sound with my magna x pipe...

Maybe I should make my own thread about this but would it be hard to put my original40s on my magnapack catback, I loved the sound of flowmasters but love the quality of the packs lol.

CrazyHorn:

Since Magnaflow won't sell the flow tubes (there's that term again, "hognutz"!) that mate up with their regular (oval) mufflers, or, in your case, FM40s, you will have to zoom over to your favorite muffler shop. Two options: fab up some stainless tubes or 'adjust' the existing tubes (heat and bending).

"01GTSTANGER" did this (see his post above) so you might try PM-ing him for details.

HTH,

Chris
