I recently had my x-pipe w/cats installed. I also have the Magnaflow Catback which was already on there with the stock H-pipe. Anyways after the X-pipe install, I noticed that the driver side cat is actually resting against the underside of the car. Is this okay being that it gets so hot. Does anyone elses do this? Does it just need readjusting? Also it has a leak which is of course at the passenger side manifold. That will be fixed but was wondering if I need to bend the x-pipe to keep the cat from resting on the underside, won't that cause it to leak also at the manifold? The last thing is that after the install I noticed that I was getting a rattling noise and when I grab the E-brake it stops. Is there a way to tighten this up or is it related to the x-pipe somehow? All help will be appreciated. Thanks.

It's alot louder than it was, plus I don't have that annoying drone anymore. Just an exhaust leak.

I took it over to Car-X, a muffler shop, and had them replace the gasket with a new metal one that turned out to be just like the one already in there. The leak didn't go away. What a waste of 60 bucks. They didn't even have any replacement studs there or lock washers that would fit around the stud. They did get the cat from touching the underside of the car. I guess I will go and get a new stud kit from Napa and try again.

get the studs changed , that should fix the leak , as for it hitting , it shouldnt hit at all , should have atleast an inch clearance to everything under there , noises are probably coming from it hitting under the car

I'm also thinking that the noises are coming from the cat resting against the car.
