I am going to be ordering my X pipe very soon and I was wondering if the Magnaflow catted X would sound good with my Borla Stinger cat-back. I heard the Magnaflow X on the Magnaflow cat-back and it sounded perfect. Will it sound similar to that or stronger/weaker?

http://ninosport.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=188

Do I need the 02 extensions with the magnaflow X pipe?

Thank you all

You don't have long tubes, so no, you won't need longer 02 wires.

You do need them on the '04's. Ford conveniently decided it was a great idea to move the rear 02's forward. I found out during the install of my Bassani that I needed them.

Did you get the O/R or the Catted? I heard that if you get the Catted one you dont need to extensions. would the magnaflow bungs be in the same spot as the bassani?

Are aftermarket catted midpipes legal in Massachusetts???

I've got a catted pipe. You may be able to pull it off, but not w/ a Bassani. Bassani actually ships the extensions w/ their pipes if it's for an '04. As far as the bung location on the magnaflow, I'm not sure. If you have it already, PM me, and I can snap a pic of it, as it's sitting on the garage floor while the rest of my exhaust is being changed again.

How did this end up in Talk?

If the Bassani cat back is a "straight-through" design, it will probably sound excellent.
