right now i have bassani x with cats and no mufflers, so i was wondering since the magnapacks are straight thru design will they sound like my current setup as far as loudness? Will the magnapacks be quieter than my current (no muffler) setup?

For the guy who asked about below 3k... Anytime you accelerate with magnapaks it's loud. In fact I've had people drive behind me and then ride in my GT and say it's louder inside.
I have the magnapack catback on my 96 gt...for emissions i had to put the catpipe back on and had just the magnapack catback and the tone was really deep and smooth...a little louder than my two chamber flows when i still had the cats with them...but after emissions i put the x-pipe back on with the packs and it made a world of diff. Overall i don't know which is louder...above 3 grand the packs kinda die out a little bit...i think the flows were a tad louder there...but under 3 grand...especially down low the packs have a nice rumble to them..and u will notice..(if you don't have cats) at about 2 grand and 2700-3000 there are these two spots that when you are on the throtte the packs bark like crazy..the get nasty loud. Sorry i don't have a clip but overall they are probably louder than 2 chamber flows...especially at 2000 drone...and u wont sound like every other mustang out there thats why i switched...but don't get me wrong...flows macs and everything else still sound nice
