how are you guys coming along? cars ready to go?

i just have to claybar mine and give it one more wash/wax before the show.

i was going to do it today, but figured its going to be at ziebart on monday and they will probably dirty it up somehow. so instead i just gave it a quick wash, and undercoated the wheel wells so they are nice and shiny black now :nice:

didnt get some of the stuff that i wanted too done, but it looks like the car is finished, as long as i dont pop the trunk. damn finals and studying is taking away from car modding time lol.

are we doing the "mustang garage" thing for a display then or what?

also we kinda need to think of how we are going to park, the guy from majestics that i talked to said we will get 3 spots one in front of eachother.

there are a few ways to think of it.

Ryan Grahm Joe <- green cars on the outside
Joe Ryan Grahm <- sn95 in the middle
Ryan Joe Grahm <- cobra front'd cars on the outside.

i'm thinking the best bet would be to put my car in the middle, since its a diffrent body style and a fair bit lower than either of your 2 cars, and your 2 wheels are the same size, while mine are diffrent, so it will look less out of place if mine is in the middle.

let me know what you think.

I was thinking of yours and mine on the outsides, and graham's in the middle. Off set the two colors.

We can still do the garage set up. I will check this week if i can get a donation of props from work. They might go for the free advertising. I might also have a big set of lights we can use.

Have you made up your plaque yet? I printed off Graham's and mine last night. They are the exact same layout as I had last year just different colors. The only thing you will need is some bristle board and an 11x14 frameless glass frame to put it in.

are the spots gonna be like:
a) - - -
b) l l l
c) / / /

Or do we just have to wait and see?

I gotta do my whole paint prep, but I'm gonna do that this week. Do either of you guys have those cool car duster things? Cause I think they said we have to make sure the car dusted off all the time.

EDIT - I agree with me in the middle in someways cause it does break up the colours, but I also don't mind the going in order of years (96, 00, 04) (ahaha that's funny are car are each 4 years apart).

I will be down around 4 or so. I will need a lot of time indoors to finish up.

I can't wait to get my garage this spring. I sure could have used it already.

I have one they are great. I use it all summer. Keeps the washings down a bit. I usually use it in the mornings when there will be a nice layer of dust from overnight. Plus it seems to make the wax job last a little longer. Between the duster and quick detailer some months I don't even have to wash it.

i'll be down there at about 4 also.

joe that would be awesome if you could get some lights, i definately wanted some but dont have any cash.

as for the plaque, i havnt made one yet, if you could pick up an extra thing of bristle board and the frame i could just pay you for it at the show, i definately dont have time to make something up, shoot me a pm showing how you have yours layed out and i'll send you the list of mods and stuff, since my sig lost a lot in the crash and i havnt updated it yet.

and grahm, its supposed to be like a: but thats not guaronteed either so its really wait and see.

If you were still interested in doing that mustang garage idea I've still got those items mentioned previously. I plan on looking at places to stay in S'Toon on Fri, so let me know in advance so I can clean all the sawdust off em

I may be able to get them. Only sticking point is they might want me to pay for them then return them when we are done.

It isn't much of a problem but i don't exactly have an extra 900 bucks laying around for a tool box.
