Anyone know of a 'male' terminaled cap that will fit an Autolite (C5AF-12127)?? I did a search on here and saw the post about fitting an 85 adapter and wider cap to run the FMS wires, but don't think I've got enough room between the coil, carb, and fuel line. Check that. I know I don't, and even if I did where would I screw the adapter screws into the distributor housing? HELP!! I'd really like to run the purdy FMS blue wires, especially now that I've got them in hand! Thanks.

The cap and adapter were used on 1980-85 5.0's. It doesn't screw on, it snaps in place (the adapter part) with your existing cap snaps. The upper terminal half snaps to the adapter. Your local parts house sells all three pieces in a kit (cap, rotor & adapter) Standard-Blue Streak has the best ones, it's a blue cap with brass terminals. And you DO have room for it, I'm running this setup on a repop Ford 3x2 intake which has the front carb closer than your 4 bbl.
