manifolddddd

You'll definitely get a mild gain by swapping out the intake manifold to just about anything aftermarket, but you won't get a serious gain unless you port your stock heads or get new ones. That's where you'll feel the power. How much power are you looking to gain?

We could give you a better idea on which manifold to choose if you could please list your modifications. If it is a stock to mildly stock motor, then I would go with the Typhoon intake. I noticed a huge gain when I swapped to ported heads, 70mm TB and the Typhoon. Best part is I got it for $300 with tax and all at a local speed shop. Hope this helps a little, good luck.

save up some cash and buy the tb, mass air meter and intake all at once. Thats wat i did and its nasty. Just that combo is good for like 22-30 horse. Anyways i got a trick flow street heat and im very happy with it. :nice:

my car is pretty stock:
what i believe to be a b-cam
long tubes
full exhaust
subframe connecters
cold air intake
electric fan
king cobra clutch
pro 5.0 shifter

blah blah blah. basically every budget bolt on you can do to a mustang. i'm looking into twisted wedge heads, a bigger cam, roller rockers, and a manifold... as far as how much HP i want to add, i'm not sure.. goal is to make my car run 12s (in the low 13s now).. i have a good bit saved up now, although with my car getting painted in the next 2 weeks some of it will be disapearing.
