I am ripping the power steering out of my 67 and replaceing it with a manual setup. I got a center link off ebay that looks right and ordered the quick steer kit an d tie rods. Little problem popped up. Is there supposed to be a bushing in between the pittman arm and the center li center link is too long. Second problem is a really tight fit of the pittman arm on the stud. Is it supposed to be pressed on or something? Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

If the center link looks right it is not necessarily the right one.
I recently picked up a center link from a Granada for my 69 Cougar. It looked right, but the tie rod end hole locations were in different locations and it did not have the slight drop at the control valve end (I know, power steering application, but the comparison is valid)
