Manual trans oil

Anyone switched to Royal Purple gearbox oil? Has it helped quiet down the tranny growl? Smoother shifts? Thanx in advance!

I use Royal Purple syncromax in my car and I have had great
results with it. I notested that after I changed my transmssion
fluid with Royal Purple the transmission ran quieter and it would
shift alot smoother too.I highly recommend Royal Purple!

It will quiet the transmission down some, but it cannot make it shift easier. Less friction=less syncronizer effectiveness. Take your shift boot off and stuff some of that foam rubber down around the shifter. The kind of foam that looks like an egg carton. It will soak up some, but not all of the noise.
