Manual transmission makes loud bang(s) like something slips when turning

Guys, I need some ideas and my Stang needs your help..

I have a 2005 GT that is stock. Last weekend I replaced the rear brakes and all went fine. I drove the car this past week with no problems. This weekend I changed the front brakes and also painted the calipers on front and rear brakes. I also went ahead and rotated the tires.

Now all heck seems to be breaking loose in the rear end. Almost literally with all the banging and popping going on.

The rear end sounds like it slips and then bangs hard into something. It is by far more pronounced if I am turning a corner and letting off of the clutch and giving gas at the same time. I have tried it in different gears and it will make the noise in 1st thru 3rd gears. I even turned off the TCS and that did not help. If I am going straight down the road at speed, all appears to sound fine.

Have I done something wrong or forgotten to do something
Or do I just need to get it to the Ford garage?

Thanks for the quick come back, but ut definitely is in the rear end. It does sound just like the rear end slips and then catches and then there is this hard bang when it does catch. I just can't think of anything I could've done to cause this. But Hey, that's why I am asking for help and not the one of those that answers the question...
