Does anyone have any idea where i would be able to find a manual window assembly for our cars? I'm getting so sick of these 18 year old electronics that I would kill for some simplicity. I would like to convert my power windows to roll down windows but have no idea where to look or what is involved in the process. What parts can I salvage and what parts do I have to toss? Also my driver side door lock actuator sounds like a meat grinder when I unlock it. Any input would be much appreciated.

I would get a set out of the junk yard. Your going to need different door panels to unless you cut yours. Grab the door lock actuator while your there to.

I'm in a similar situation, only my car needs new doors (rust) and the doors i have are power and i DON'T want power windows in my coupe. It involves drilling out some rivets to remove the whole assembly and then bolting in the manual assembly. I don't have all the details myself so i'd like to hear any details myself.

That's my plan since my car is in primer anyways, but that might be a hassle for someone with a fully painted car....it would be a lot more expensive.
