I'm sure the girls love the extra attention. Just like the guys in your front seat do.

I've had one automatic (a 1978 Trans Am) in the last 35 years, and I hated it. It was very fast, but boring

Come on folks... some people just like to mash the fun pedal and go! I had a 2001 auto GT with 4.10s and loved every bloody minute of it.

I've had both and currently am preferring the auto. I don't think they're THAT easy to thrash either unless you really abuse them. There are so many electronic controls now it's difficult to thrash on them that bad...

If they ARE that fragile then maybe TCI and Bama should have disclaimers with their products?? From what Bama told me, shifting harder is EASIER on your transmission and it would seem that if TCI made ratchet shifters and paddle kits for automatics that it would be 'safe' to manually shift them, no?
