Going on a 92 LX. I bolted up the brackets, put the axles in and then the rotor seems to have too much offset, the disc hits the mounting bracket. Am I supposed to use a SN95 rotor? I am confused now, I thought this was supposed to bolt right up.
switching the rear from drums to discs, Already had the 5 lug drum conversion. Took everything off down to the axle tube and then started bolting the Lincoln disc stuff back on the way it came off of it.
I think the rotors actually have to be flipped backwards when putting the mark VII stuff on a fox body? Not sure, but I think those need to be flipped and the bracket might need to be modified. There's a guy on here that has all the info on his site; matt90gt, do a search.
You need to flip the brackets when using ranger axles. Involves a little bit of welding but i did it and it's really no big deal. If you can find some recessed allen type bolts you can get away with welding it. You will also need to grind it a small bit.
If you don't want to do this, you need to use the Mark 7 rear axles. This will push your wheels out 1.25" each side.
If you are close to Boston i have a set of Mark 7 axles if you want to go that way
