mass air conversion ?

I am finally getting everything together to convert to mass air. I have plans for H/C/I next year because I'm running low on funds. Currently doing Subframe connectors while carpet is out and now would be the time to do all the wiring, etc., for the m/a conv. I'll do no more than a B cam or equivalent, explorer intake and heads. Here is a list of what I have:

A9L
Wiring harness
pigtail
pins
intake tube

Question #1-What size/brand maf meter, 70 or 73? I know where I can get a 73 c&l but don't know much about them.

Question #2- What size/brand thottle body?

Question #3- If I do this now before the H/C/I swap, will it hurt drivability?
