Mass air sensor needed?

Does anyone know wether or not a MAC fenderwell CAI for an 04 would require me to buy a new Mass air sensor? Or will it work with the stock one and not make my engine light go nuts. thanks

hey dont bother getting the fenderwell kit... CAIs are pretty much worthless, I can tell you from experience

the stock maf is usually fine and will work in this case. the mac cai is for bling facter. cai s do make some modest power and are a decent mod IF you buy a good one. stay away from the metal kits, heat +metal = hai. demolet, tunable induction are great kits. also the jlt is good. im pretty sure that is the name. just do a search. honestly, watch out for the mac and bbk. some things are fine, but i am not a fan of their quality. you get what you pay for
