can some one tell me what year ford switch from speed density to mass air on the mustang, and how hard is it to convert to mass air

they swithced in 89, in california 88 was the first year.

ITs actually quite simple, you need the a9l or a9p computer, depends on whether your auto or manual, a mass air meter stock or matched to your injectors, and the wire harness from fordfuelinjection.com or mass air experts.com . Then you splice the wires into the computer and existing harness and your good to go, its been done hundreds of times on here, and you can find tons of info if you just search the work mass air swap.
