Years ago I put Granada discs on the front of my 68 and left the 68's manual drum/drum Master cylinder on it. It's been fine until here lately. I think I need a new one.

I did a search here and found that a lot of people have used a 74 Maverick master cylinder.

So what exactly is the advantage of the Maverick master cylinder over one from a Granada? I'm not sure which one I should get. Does it really even matter?

the maverick and granada share the same brakes therefor the same master cylinder.

i have been using a 69 dual reservoir forever with mine no issues..

If I ever have to change it I will probably give the maverick/granada one a shot.

if you have manual brakes, then any dual bowl disc/drum ford master cylinder will do nicely. if you have power brakes, then any dual bowl disc/drum ford master cylinder will do nicely. you may have to play with the push rod on the manual master cylinder as some are a bit longer than others. for your 68 i would use the 68 disc/drum master cylinder.
