During the process of swapping out my front calipers, i did not secure the brake hose properly and it fell allowing brake fluid to run out on the ground. Which of course let the MC go dry.

I have seen many posts about how to not let it run dry, but I have not seen any about what problems this causes. I am guessing my abs system has air in it, and that it needs to bled with a scan tool? I dont even know what that is. Sounds expensive.:(

I have gone around the care twice and bled out all my calipers with no evidence of bubbles.

I have a local shop down the street from me who does good work, hopefully he can fix this problem.

Hopefully this is not a repeat post, I did do a search first though.

Thanks

Ah never mind, I re-bled the MC both ports and fixed the problem. I did have an air bubble in the part closest to the firewall. After doing a test drive the brakes are working good. :)
