I got some Autometer Cobalt gauges in a 3-pillar pod right now and was looking around to find some dash overlays or new dash gauge setup but can't seem to find any that will match the blue put off by the Cobalt gauges. I really like the blue and I am trying to get pretty close to matching them. I know it might not be exact, but thats okay. I remember seeing that someone soldered a bunch of blue LED's throughout his whole car and that looked good, but I am not about to try that. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the changing the lights on the stock gauges...something like this....

You can do that just by swapping out the bulbs in the back of the cluster. Its quick, easy, and cheap.

Damn, I like that. Thats pretty much what I saw. Is there a write-up on it? I don't have a manual for the car. Would I just pull out the gauge cluster and be able to tell where the bulbs are? What size are they? Would love to be able to do that.

If you just take out the cluster there are some bulbs in the back that are just twist off, well they were in my 98 at least, you may want to confirm that with a 99+ owner for sure. Anyway, mine were size 194 bulbs and they are from varad, 3 leds in each bulb. You can get all kinds of cool bulbs, whatever color you want over at www.cardomain.com in the interior lighting section. My car took a total of 5 bulbs behind the cluster. Its not that hard to take the cluster out, the worse part is the damn light switch thing! That takes 15 minutes to figure out, after that its a breeze.

It seems like they are just lit up around the edges, but they are not, its just brighter around the edges that all. They are autometer ultralite's with the same blue led bulbs that I used for the dash. Although it may seem like some parts of the dash lights are brighter than other parts, its pretty much the same across the whole panel.

I really need a new digital camera I guess
