max hp on motor with stock heads?

They are out there !! but there is the meaning of the words also..." stock- untouched" or 'Stock" blue printed to specs, clearanced, balanced and re-built?? That is always why there is racing.. LOL 10 cars can be the "same" and ten cars all go different speeds and ET's..Cool?? You really have to hand it to the "class racers" for getting the power from "stock" specs and parts!! The Super Stocker Class and Stock Class all do the same... they are just about mind blowing!! huh??

Mind blowing indeed.
Ed H. is one of the few who will not push the rule book and cheat, and is the main reason he did not run last year.
He and Ed C. had a neat conversation about this very thing not too long ago over at the Corral.
His heads have recieved a 3 angle valve job... ta dah.. that is it.
He does not even run super thin trick gaskets... just every day FelPro 1011-2's.

Dunno exactly.
Don't forget, stock unported intakes, with all of ~130cfm!!!
Pretty nifty cam, but enough to run power brakes. I know he does not brag about fuel consumption.
I 'hope' to make close to those numbers with ported over sized valved E7te's and ported stock intakes and custom cam... 'hope'
