Hey whats going on my car has been dead for a week now and I don't know what to do. Maxi fuse 13 which is located under the hood in the engine compartment in the power distribution box keeps blowing and my car will not run at all with this fuse blown. I traced the wire from this fuse to the inside of the passenger fender which has a mulitifunction relay in it which controls the fuel pump and variest other things like injectors and spark as far as I know. The fuse would only blow when this relay was connected so I figured the relay itself must be bad, well after spending $100 something dollars on a new one the fuse still blows when I plug the new relay in. This leads me to believe that one of the components that the relay controls must have a short in it. The only problem is I have no idea where the wires run too and what they control. So if anyone has any schematics of the wiring on this car its a 96 GT Vert 5 speed by the way, it would be a huge help!! Or if anyone has ever had this problem before and knows a fix that would be even better!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance!!!!

Im thinking it's that EEC fuse because the check engine light goes out once the fuse is blown. Do you think that it could blow out from the fuel pump shorting out or something, cause that's my next guess it looks like its all connected. Thanks a mil for the info I actually just got the same exact diagram today and am still in the process of figuring out what goes to what.

I had the same problem. I drove me nuts for along time, in the middle of driving the car would just die (always at the worst time). I replaced the battery, alternator some wiring and some other usless sh_t to no evail. I found out by luck that the wire FEEDING the fuse (on the top of the fuse block) for the factory security sysem was loose from me pulling it out and pushing it back in from before. I found this out because it finally died inside of the garage at home and after taking a meter to everything with no luck I pushed up on the fuse block with my hands and turned the key and bam it started rite up. From that point I played with the wires from the top of the block until I found the correct wire. I hope this helps you

I ended up forking the fuse and all fuses from that point. Spread the fuses legs out alittle in a opposite direction
