Maximum HP/TQ on stock F4TE 351w block?

Maximum HP/TQ on stock 351w block?

Stock internals... Cast pistons / forged rods / forged crank.
Whats the most HP I can make before I have to start worrying?
Im afraid to throw Nitrous at my setup fearing its more HP than the engine can handle. I am using the combo in my sig..
btw, the casting # is F4TE its a 94-96 roller 351w
 
It'll take a lot more than a stock 5.0 block and they start to split around the 600 hp threshold. Probably 700-800 hp.

As a point of refference the FRPP 392 made 552 crank hp with a stock block and AFR heads.
 
don't worry about spraying it i had a friend with a cast piston 377 putting a 250 shot on it, it went way in the 10's on the spray ,just make sure you have good fuel in it and back your timing off . cast pistons aren't that bad.
 
The block and rotating assembly can handle most anything you throw at it except for those cast pistons. I dont care whos "buddy" did what with cast pistons. NA below 10.25 comp ratio and you should be fine but once you start putting a power adder on pistons or raising the comp too high then you start breaking things. I would say she could take a 75 shot with plenty of fuel but thats the most I would do. Lose the pistons and go to forged and the engine could handle 700+.
 
I don't get you Saltymaz... Not long ago you claimed you had Upgraded Your So Called new "Crate Engine" (Look's Like An Old used Motor in your My Garage Pics) with Forged Piston's and now it look's like you actually have Cast Piston's. You said above it has "Stock Internals" Well that mean's you have cast Crank & Rods as well, not forged. I'm calling BS on you since your story is alway's changing, your combo is alway's changing and half the time you don't know what your talking about. Not only that but look at this thread for instence. Your the most impatient guy I've ever seen. Enough with the "Cmon, Cmon" and the "TTT" and the Bumps. Jeez. 65'ShelbyClone was trying to help you and give you his opinion and then you go and say a comment like that???
