Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors question

I'm going to buy some full length sub-frame connectors. I'm not sure if I should get the bare steel or powder coated ones. I don't drive my car in the rain. Basically, I'm just asking if the powder coating is needed and do you have to grind off the powder coating at the weld points? What methods do people use for welding the connectors in with the car weight on the wheels. Besides a lift.

I just bought the bare steel and painted myself. I welded mine on ramps and it was a PITA but can be done

i bought mine powdercoated and the shop that welded them spray paint the welded areas at no extra charge.

i bought mine powdercoated. I can tell you, mine are already starting to rust through the powdercoating and it hasent even been a year.

I know maximum motorsports makes good products, but i gotta say i was a little dissapointed to find the rust in lieu of the hype mm gets for having such good products...

Bare steel, paint tops before intall and rest after.
