I was going to buy a TA along with a few other things today but when I called MM they told me not to worry about the TA right now and just get the PHB and LCA's. Furthermore the rep told me that you have to change a few other things when going with the TA and that not to worry about it unless I plan to strip the car for track only purposes. If I run it on the street even here n there in the summer I should not worry about getting this part. Is this true? I did a search on the gay corral and found a few ppl back in 07 who did the TA with PHB combo and said they loved it.

Please fill me in. Thanks

i have it on mine, im sure why Jason said if its mostly a street car is because its destroys you ground clearance, provides a slightly rougher ride, but i agree no need to buy a TA right now if you dont have a PHB and LCA's cause you wont be able to install it without them

It doesn't hurt the ride all that much my car rode very nice with it. With it it made the body very stiff and the car could get high centered on a curb. Its really helps with traction and makes the overall feel nice.

then you must have all perfect roads where you live, cause now that you have a properly placed axle on the subframe you feel every little road imperfection

The torque arm is the last piece of the suspension upgrade jigsaw after you've done the lower control arms and Panhard bar. You can install the TA without the other two but it would be a waste of time. The one component that IS essential in order to install a TA are subframe connectors with rectangular tubing and a cross brace. All these items add weight, reduce ground clearance, and require the exhaust to be rerouted.
I took the simple approach of doing the MM LCA's and Edelbrock adjustable UCA's instead. The car handles beautifully and the ride is the same as stock. The only small downside is a little more road noise but it's not intrusive.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Glad you all could shed some light on my op. Once I get enough posts I will put up a WTB for the rear MM Extreme Duty ADJ LCA's
