Hey guys its been along time sense ive posted anything. I need to start getting out to some of the meets. Well anyway i just had my stang dyno tuned at blood enterprize, Its making pretty good numbers rightnow 390rwhp keep in mind this is on a mustang dyno. They havent even turned on the snow performance Water/meth injection yet. They mentioned that the blower belt is starting to slip around 6k at 11psi. Also they said it close to maxing out the mass air meter! I have a c&l 80mm mass air, whats that max for that? and what do you guys sugest i get? I know theres a 85mm made by C&L but it dosent seem like much more. Thanks for the help, Andy

I know your not turbo, but I would suggest checking out The Turbomustangs.com site. They should have info on goor Forced induction MAF's. That or Check out the twEECer site. they will have info also. Sounds fishy to me that you max out a C&L. Is it the correct calibration for your injectors??

just fyi... they all max at 5 volts dc, the diff is how much air they are flowing at that voltage. 5mm may not seem like much, but the added area flows quite a bit more air. But that said, you shouldnt be maxing it out at only 450hp. (motor)
Are you sure the fuel pressure is set correctly? Some times people turn it down to get better idle quality, but then you reduce your flow up top... or could the FMU (if equiped) need a change of a couple pounds?
Just thinking out loud...
Either way, I think some of the lightnings and cobras have some big flow mafs you could look into.

The limiting factor is the "calibration". If the meter has been adjusted to trick the EEC, and it's "calibrated" for a certain injector size, you're stuck -- it won't matter what size meter you have, the table is the limit.

The solution is to use a different calibration. The downside is that if your chip takes a dump, you're towing the car. At least when it's "calibrated" for the injectors you have, you can limp home even if your chip fails.

yeah the meter is cali for 42# injectors, Im not running a fmu at all. Its a custom burned chip, what calbration tube should i get then? They said they could make a ton more power if they wanted to with timming and turning on the snow performance kit. I guess after figureing out the mass air thing i just need to worry about the block. Thanks guys!
