I'm going to go ahead and order a built shortblock that is good to at least 700whp. What I want to know is what is the max an S-Trim can put out or that you've actually seen it do? I'm at 8psi now and I'm hoping it can push over 600whp if I crank it up to 15psi or so(not sure what bigger pullies there are as I haven't looked yet)? Anyone on here have an S-Trim that is pushing lots of boost? Thanks for any input you guys can give.

Well I see they give a 750 credit if you want to upgrade (mines in mint condition). How much is a T-Trim blower cost, I can't find the individual cost on their website?

EDIT: N/M I found what the price is 2,600 =

Guess I should have gone over their website more, it says on their site the V1 is "efficient" up to 680 hp which 600whp would make me a happy guy.

I believe the limit is upper 400s to low 500s. The limit for the T trim is somewhere around 580 I think...but you wont get 600RWHP out of a T trim without some serious portwork and ATLEAST blower cams.

When I mean limit, im talking about what they will make on 2Vs.

A guy from MPH made 601RWHP from a novi 2000 (much better than T trim, and ALOT better than S) he had to push about 17.5PSI, custom MPH blower cams, and full exhaust. Think the heads were stock, and the intake was all stock. 600HP is not easy to come by...then all the supporting mods to handle the power like new fuel pump, new tranny, clutch, 31spline, maybe a better intercooler, new radiator, roll bar system for the track and street safety, and your at risk of bending the driveshaft. Tim said that the adverage 600RWHP buildup costs around $30K after its all said and done, if I remember correctly. Needless to say im going to go with a 2.2 KB and keep it around 520-550...thats plenty imo. and its at the limit of the stock tranny if you dont beat on it.

There was a guy on here who posted figures of a fairly radically built modular backed with an S-trim that made nearly 650rwhp a while back. I can't remember if it was before, or after the SN crash though? Generally....500-550 is probably the limit for a daily driven street car. I've never seen any of them come close to their claimed horsepower limits. This includes both centrifugal and twin screw.

If big power is what you’re looking for in a Centrifugal, you’re better to go with a T-trim a Novi 2000 or a ATI D1SC.

low-mid 600's is the limit with the S-trim and you'll need cams, P&P heads, intercooler, 8 rib kit, full exhaust, P&P bullit or Reichard intake and a cobra tank with upgraded pumps plus more.

Ok well maybe I won't get just there yet, I'm going to keep the stock 2V heads and I'm not too sure about the cams just yet. If I can pull 500-560 whp I'd still be a happy guy.

I'm going to go this route unless when we purchase our house in 2 months if I can convice the wife to get some extra $$ so I can put in the built block and ditch the S-Trim for a KB 2.2L

I have over 500 HP and the S-Trim still has some room... I am running the 2.80 pulley on it.. Last dyno on a slipping clutch was 495HP.. And that is with just stock PI heads and PI intake. If I were to change the heads, I should get another 100 HP out of my combination. So, I think your limit is closer to 600 to 650 HP from my personal experience.

That is the info I am talking about, I could be happy with those results until I slapped some heads on there.
