McLeod blowproof, which starter holes to use?

Hey, any of you guys that have a McLeod bellhousing know what I'm talking about. There are two bolt patterns for the starter. I'm assuming that one is for a 164 and one is for a 157 tooth flywheel? If the pattern that's closest to the center of the bell will have to be used, some material will have to be grinded away for the starter to fit down in. Which one needs to be used?

I ran into the same issue. The stock starter will only line up one way .. basically you can't screw it up if the bolts go in.

i also had to gring the hole a little for the starter to fit in. here is a pic of the setup i used.
