A guy last night pulled up beside me in a newer Dodge Ram Rumble Bee Edition. Those things are rated at 350 HP and 350 tq. We just pulled off normal, and drove beside each other, waiting for the other to go, and neither of us did I had to pull off so i slowed and turned. How would i have faired against this guy?

I know they're prolly pretty fast, but also pretty heavy.

How many different versions of the new rams do they have? I just saw one today at a local dealership that was a daytona model! It even had the wing and the badges like the real daytonas!

EDIT: Here is some info on them: http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-2005-Dodge-Ram-Daytona.htm

umm, i think he would have owned up... no offense obviously, but those trucks can't be THAT heavy

i'd bet on that truck w/ 350hp vs. an sn95 pushing 200

of course, i don't remember ur combo if you're sig isn't right

I'd give that truck 14's at its best... They are big, heavy, and not geared for speed.

There is a gay yellow rumble bee in town. I think the guy thought it would make him look better, but It didn't. I am going to catch him in town one night and hurt his feelings really bad.

That truck would take you, especially stoplight to stoplight. I'm sure you would have the top end, but they are geared pretty damn low and they make trq very low in the power band.

The SRT-10 Ram only runs 13's or so, and it has a 500hp v10. The Hemi engine is rated at 350, but puts down around 270 or so to the wheels, so it is pretty overrated. I have a stock '94, and I would not be intimidated by a Ram.

P.S. I say that daytona ram at the car show a couple weeks ago. what a joke. Why doesn't dodge built a frickin sports car instead of trying to pass off a PICKUP TRUCK with a "Hemi" as a sporty vehicle.

best info I can find is that of the new rams the lightest weight one (4.7 liter v8 single cab 5 speed) weights 4459 pounds the hemis are rated for a 1/4 mile "at or just under" 16 seconds with a 7 second 0-60 time

At the track a SRT10 truck barely edged out a Stock Lightning. Forget the ET's but I was suprised it was that slow was only a low 14.

The only truck that worries me are lightnings. The srt 10 is a badass truck but it soesn't worry me. Plus how many guys go modding the srt 10 vs. the guys that swap blower pullies for next to nothing on a lightning.
