Switching to a holley blue pump isnt that hard at all. You can pick one up new from summit with a regulator for (i think $110) You can wire it to a toggle switch or to a switched 12v wire. You have to mount it below your fuel tank since it pulls the fuel. The pump is internally regulated, so you do not need to run a return line to your tank.
What mods do you have? having a bigger fuel pump and no means to get the fuel to your carb (bigger lines)...you would be bottle necked. Its fairly simple to setup. With new lines, you could do it for about $200. Using your stock lines....$120 or so. Buying a reman pump and regulator on ebay....$75.
