Is there any safe means of mounting one inside the car? Or do you have to go with an electrical gauge. Also, does anyone have any pics of guages mounted outside behind a cobra r hood?

Electric is the way to go. You will not regret it.

To answer your question, yes you can safely mount a fuel pressure guage inside the car! you need a inline diaphram that mounts on the firewall and from there to the guage is oil filled so no fire hazard inside the car. I think Moroso makes one and other companies do too.
